Breaking the Silence - Video Testimonies of Israeli Soldiers

06-02-2012

This new, unique exhibition of the Israeli organization Breaking The Silence contains 15 video testimonies of Israeli veteran combatants about the time they served in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Unique is that all those giving testimony in this exhibition are recognizable and identified their full name. The exhibition in Groningen is a cooperation between Gate48 and the Groningen Forum.

At the opening of the exhibition on the 9th of February the play “Mijn naam is Rachel Corrie” will be performed by Laura van Dolron.  The exhibition will be open from  9 to 25 February, Bibliotheek Groningen, Oude Boteringestraat 18.

The exhibition is part of a program called Dossier Het Beloofde Land, that includes debate, theatre, and documentary. More information about the full program can be found here
